CPP51122 Entry Requirements

CPP51122 has specific prerequisites and requirements. Here's everything you need to know before enrolling.

Mandatory Prerequisites

CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice

You MUST have completed CPP41419 (or CPP40307) before enrolling in CPP51122. This is a non-negotiable requirement set by state regulators.

Real Estate Industry Experience

Most states require 1-2 years of practical real estate experience as a licensed agent before you can apply for an agency licence.

General Requirements

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in CPP51122.

Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN)

You need sufficient English language skills to complete assessments and understand legal/compliance content. Most RTOs conduct an LLN assessment during enrolment.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

You must have a valid USI to enrol in any nationally recognised training. Create one free at usi.gov.au.

Police Check

A National Police Check is required for licensing (not enrolment). Cost: $42-$87 depending on the provider.

Important Note

Completing CPP51122 does NOT automatically grant you an agency licence. After graduation, you must apply separately to your state's regulator (CAV, NSW Fair Trading, DMIRS, etc.) and meet additional requirements including experience thresholds and financial guarantees.
